HELLO

Welcome to my first blog post on this new site. It's much easier for me to add things now (thanks to Squarespace! - I'm not contractually obliged to plug them because they sponsor the podcast by the way, that was just spontaneous enthusiasm) so I might actually get round to posting things more than once a year.

Some of you may be wondering about the lack of comment sections on the site. This is less because I fear trolls and more because it would be up to me to moderate and respond to comments, and that's more time that I'd prefer to spend on other things. That's also the reason I'm no longer on Twitter - it just munched through time and mental energy that I felt could be more usefully directed elsewhere.
